A meditation on time inspired by prehistoric cave burials. Unglazed colored porcelains are layered together and formed by hand into graduated irregular tube shapes reminiscent of bones, high fired, and strung onto leather. Over time, as the edges of the beads rub together they soften and polish each other like stones in a river.
Length is adjustable by re-tying leather.
