A meditation on time inspired by prehistoric cave burials. Unglazed blue porcelain formed by hand into graduated irregular tube shapes reminiscent of charred bones, high fired, and strung onto leather. Over time, as the edges of the beads rub together they soften and polish each other like stones in a river.
Available with black porcelain specks or with brushstrokes of black porcelain slip.
Length is adjustable by re-tying leather.
